The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will celebrate its 50th birthday in December 2021 – and is attracting founders, starters and experts as much as ever. Supported by high investment incentives, the UAE currently ranks among the top 25 in the Global Competitiveness Index. Economists predict that its position in the list could improve further in the coming years.
“This rich trading nation holds many business opportunities for foreign export companies today. The business environment is considered dynamic and open,” says Ursula Rimmele-Konzelmann, Head of Organisation & Project Management at the Deltakap Law Firm Group, which is headquartered near Munich and has a office in Ras Al Khaimah. “However, medium-sized exporters must exercise caution when opening up, not least because of the deeply rooted cultural and religious peculiarities of daily life in the United Arab Emirates.”
