Many people have often been to Switzerland for a quick business meeting. But the Alpine republic also offers a wealth of opportunities for conferences and congresses (MICE), including magnificent panoramic views. \u201cAnd it goes without saying that staying on for some bleisure time to go hiking, skiing, or on city trips brings many wow moments,\u201d says Sylvie Konzack, editor-in-chief and co-publisher of Bleisure Traveller. \u201cI was in Bern and Lucerne for our Switzerland special and was more than impressed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Co-publisher Kai B\u00f6cking also took on a workation safari in Namibia under the title \u201cBetween Laptop and Leopard.\u201d Ulf-Gunnar Switalski, who has primarily reviewed loyalty programs for Bleisure Traveller to date, spent several workation weeks in the Maldives and presents affordable solutions. Claudia Br\u00fcggen, who works as an illustrator and journalist and is almost permanently on the road, looks at the country’s development from insider tip to mass phenomenon for workation and remote work in her story on Portugal.<\/p>\n

And \u201cNina in Nomad Land\u201d \u2013 Nina Winkler, who has been living and working entirely on the road with her 14-year-old son for around three years and writes about it in Bleisure Traveller \u2013 reports this time in a big interview with her son about the respective challenges worldwide, WiFi adventures, everyday online schooling and work, as well as their longings and further plans.<\/p>\n

\nFinally, the magazine spoke to Accor about workation and bleisure policies for employees: The hotel group offers its employees at its head office twelve workation days and has had excellent experiences with this.
\nA highlight at the end: Barbara Sch\u00f6neberger answered questions in our \u201cMy life as a bleisure traveler\u201d section. The well-known television and radio presenter spoke to us about her lack of desire for splurging, her faded wanderlust, and suitcases.<\/p>\n
