This time, our travels took us to Germany, Korea, the Dominican Republic and Andalusia, amongst other places. The new print edition of Bleisure Traveller is available at major DACH airports, in the railway lounge and at selected hotels, and can be downloaded from the media libraries with immediate effect.<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to the latest figures from the Bleisure & Workation Monitor Germany, 81 per cent of German business travellers stay in Germany for bleisure. \u201cReason enough for us to embark on a journey through Germany in this new issue. We \u2018bleisure\u2019ed\u2019 in Frankfurt, Nuremberg and Dresden, and went on workations \u2013 with our child on the Baltic Sea and with our dog at Lake Chiemsee. What a wealth of variety right on our doorstep,\u201d say Sylvie Konzack and Kai B\u00f6cking, founders and publishers of Bleisure Traveller.<\/p>\n

In addition, anyone interested in the robust figures \u2013 collected for the first time \u2013 on the bleisure and workation market in Germany will find a summary of the findings from the study by the Bavarian Centre for Tourism (commissioned by the VDR and GCB) as well as the \u2018Bleisure & Workation Monitor Germany\u2019 study (IU University of Applied Sciences). Loneliness, winter workations, around-the-world trips<\/h4>\n

Another highlight of the new issue: our writer Claudia Br\u00fcggen has tackled the topic of loneliness on long-term trips and, in her fascinating article, describes how we need new social skills both whilst travelling and in everyday life. Our new contributor, Carina Neumann-Mahlkau, reports on how this worked out during two winter workation seasons in Andalusia in Spain. Welcome to the team, Carina!<\/p>\n

The feature with work culture specialist, podcaster and author Kira Marie Cremer is both fascinating and self-critical, exploring remote work whilst travelling the world and the extent to which \u2018New Work\u2019 needs a different term today. And in our Work@Sky<\/a> section \u2013 working above the clouds \u2013 we\u2019ve put Turkish Airlines to the test this time, whilst our loyalty expert Ulf-Gunnar Switalski has taken a closer look at the ALL Accor and Avios loyalty programmes.<\/p>\n
