„What potential do bleisure travel and workations have as new forms of travel – from the perspective of providers? The first Bleisure & Workation Monitor has been launched. Providers can participate in the survey until September 30, 2025.“
In the spring, IU International University presented the Bleisure & Workation Monitor Germany. As part of this, the research team led by Prof. Dr. Andreas Zimmer (Chair of Tourism Management, left), Prof. Dr. Sven Pastowski (Chair of General Business Administration, center), and Prof. Dr. Peter Neumann (Chair of Tourism Economics, right) developed the first Germany-wide survey tool that focuses on the perspective of tourism providers. The focus is on questions such as: What trends are shaping the market for bleisure travel and workation in Germany? What challenges do providers face in developing and marketing such offers? How can bleisure and workation offers contribute to regional tourism development?
Hotels, serviced apartment providers, vacation rental companies, coworking spaces, conference venues, and campsites that already have experience with bleisure or workation or see potential in these areas can participate until September 30, 2025. Bleisure Traveller is a cooperation partner.
