Bleisure Traveller@Tour: Register now for the kick-off webinar on 8 October 2026

‘The demand is there – where is the supply?’ On 8 October 2026, Bleisure Traveller and Prof. Dr Peter Neumann will be discussing this question with destinations and service providers in a small group setting. Anyone interested can now register for the webinar.

The first guest at the inaugural Bleisure Traveller@Tour webinar on 8 October 2026 will be Fabienne Schönweitz from the Rhineland-Palatinate Convention Bureau. She will speak about the bleisure activities in Mainz and Rhineland-Palatinate since the initiative began in 2021. Afterwards, everyone will join her in discussing issues such as the organisation of bleisure within DMOs (Destination Management Organisations), necessary points of contact, and successful and unsuccessful approaches, particularly from the perspective of business travellers.

Prof. Dr Peter Neumann, Professor of Tourism and Managing Director of NeumannConsult, will present a preview of selected findings from the Bleisure & Workation Monitor Germany. He says: “The demand is there – where is the supply? For this webinar topic, we aim to provide concrete, honest answers and new approaches through dialogue with the participants.”

Sylvie Konzack, editor-in-chief of *Bleisure Traveller* and moderator of the webinar, adds: “A maximum of 30 participants; no one-way presentation, but rather an active, participatory expert forum in a small group and within a safe space – that’s what sets our webinar apart from others.”

The webinar will take place on 8 October 2026 between 10 am and 11 am. The participation fee is 49 euros plus VAT. Destinations, hotels and other service providers can register directly HERE. Everyone is expressly invited to contribute their own questions and examples. Following the webinar, participants will receive a concise summary.

Part two: hands-on workshops

The webinar is part of the new ‘Bleisure Traveller@Tour’ format, which NeumannConsult and Bleisure Traveller have just launched together. In hands-on workshops, the findings from the ‘Bleisure & Workation Monitor Germany’ are combined with practical implementation experience and the perspective of business travellers for destinations and hotels. Bleisure Traveller features selected offers in its magazine.
