Working from anywhere sounds like a permanent holiday, doesn’t it? Here are five tips to help you stay motivated to work remotely.:
1. Fixed working hours:
No more working in your pyjamas until noon! Define clear working hours as if you were going
to the office – except that the journey is much shorter.
This for example leaves more time for a walk on the beach after work.
2. Create an oasis of productivity:
Your workspace should inspire, not depress. Get yourself a good chair and position your desk so that you can see at least two palm trees, olive trees, water or mountains when you look out of the window.
3. The art of making to-do lists:
Start the day with a to-do list without overdoing it. Imagine yourself being the captain of your ship – what tasks have to absolutely be completed to not sink,
and which can wait until the next harbour is in sight?
4. Digital coffee breaks:
Keep in touch with your colleagues. Regular virtual coffee breaks can work wonders and keep team morals high.
5. Breaks are sacred:
Allow yourself time between meetings on the balcony for a sunbathing session or some yoga practise. These little breaks help to clear your head and start the next tasks with renewed energy.
Make working from anywhere in the world not only feasible, but also inspiring. Grab your laptop, find your next
dream destination and show the working world how to
rock remotely
