Since last summer, all employees of the TV channel in Germany have been able to work remotely from other European countries for 30 days a year. Most recently, the offer was extended to 26 countries and thus almost completely to the EU. These include: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
“We want to offer our employees as much flexibility as possible,” emphasised Christine Scheffler, Member of the Executive Board and responsible for HR, Compliance and Sustainability at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE (P7S1) in a LinkedIn post a few days ago. She also includes the offer of individual concepts for various hybrid working models. Four models were developed with the employees in workshops, ranging from “On Campus” to “Highly Remote”, with the latter working less than one day per week on campus on average.
In addition, P7S1 offers the option of taking sabbaticals of up to 24 months. The company has around 7,000 employees worldwide.
