„‘Stay a little bit longer’ says the Convention Bureau Rhineland-Palatinate and with its new campaign offers concrete offers to extend the business trip, especially before or after conferences.”
Add a short break in the vineyards, on a Rhine boat trip or a gourmet and cultural weekend after the congress – the Convention Bureau Rhineland-Palatinate is focusing on its “Bleisure Travel Cities” Mainz, Koblenz, Trier, Ludwigshafen, Worms, Landau and Zweibrücken for this. An impression of the possibilities is provided, among other things, by a specially developed Bleisure explanatory video. In addition, the Convention Bureau is organising the hybrid event “Meet & Greet – Tagungsland Rheinland-Pfalz” on 6 September 2023 in Ludwigshafen specifically on the topic of “Bleisure Travel Rheinland-Pfalz”.
With the activities by the Convention Bureau Rhineland-Palatinate, the federal state aims to become No. 1 in the German “Bleisure market”. The Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economics, Transport, Agriculture and Viniculture supports the Bleisure initiative.
Concrete hotel offers for extensions
New to the programme is the “Stay a little bit longer…” campaign, which offers business travellers concrete hotel deals for Bleisure stays in the conference destinations, at a 20 percent discount. Business travellers book extended stays in the respective city directly with the participating partner hotels. Combinations of the business trip with an evening leisure programme or day and weekend excursions are also possible.
Compliance issues are already taken into account by transparently declaring to book the business stay at one of the partner hotels, stating the business billing address. With “Stay a little bit longer”, the business stay is extended by stating the private address. The participating partner hotels include the Atrium Hotel Mainz, the Favorite Parkhotel Mainz, the Heinrich Pesch Hotel Ludwigshafen, the Hilton Hotel Mainz, the Hyatt Regency Mainz, the Me and all hotel Mainz, the Novotel Mainz and the Parkhotel Landau.
Business travellers can get information and inspiration about the respective cities at https://www.rlp-conventions.com/en/bleisure before they leave.
