Participants can cast their votes for the German Bonus Awards online in five categories. The programme of the year will be chosen in the Move, Hotel, Shopping & Lifestyle, Finance and Cashback categories. There are prizes for the best programme for collecting, the best customer service and the best app.
Last year alone, over 45,500 people took part in the voting. “At the moment, it looks as if we will soon surpass this figure,” says Ulf-Gunnar Switalski, initiator of the German Bonus Awards and the online magazine UpgradeGuru.de, which has been giving consumers tips on how to optimise the loyalty programmes they use since 2015. Participants in the voting can win prizes, including hotel stays at Marriott Bonvoy Hotels, points allotments from Best Western Rewards and World of Hyatt as well as SkyteamGold status cards from Flying Blue. For the first time – supported by Bleisure Traveller – the Employer Loyalty Award will also be presented as part of the German Bonus Awards. This is a jury-only award for the best hotel and serviced apartment providers in the workation sector.
All winners of this year’s German Bonus Awards will be announced at ITB, the world’s largest tourism trade fair, on 6 March 2024 in Berlin.
