Wilde & Partner: Workation premiere on Mallorca

For the first time, the agency Wilde & Partner sent its 60-strong team to Mallorca for six weeks of workation. A finca was rented for this purpose.”

The technical possibilities are given, the time zone is the same as at the company headquarters in Munich, and the individual groups are mixed – across hierarchies, disciplines and competences. Until the end of May, the approximately 60 employees of the German tourism agency Wilde & Partner Communications will consult, brainstorm, design, write texts and make phone calls in smaller groups on Mallorca. “We are already looking forward to the reports, new ideas and concepts,” says agency boss Jens Huwald, who has rented a finca at short notice with his wife for this purpose, following a team idea. In addition to fincallorca, clients Eurowings and Sunny Cars (car hire) are supporting the project so that the team remains mobile on the island for errands and excursions.

Workation as a Team Booster

“As part of regular working hours, colleagues will demonstrate how Workation can work. An experiment we are very excited about,” add the two agency bosses. Pool, sun, lifestyle, island – these are to be explicitly enjoyed. The goal of the workation on Mallorca is a stronger team spirit. “I am convinced that our Wilde Finca and Mallorca will act as a booster here,” says Jens Huwald. Incidentally, he and all the members of the executive board and management did not travel to Mallorca. They were afraid that they might inhibit the dynamics in the teams.
