GHA with digital premium currency

The Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) is an association of independent hotel brands with more than 500 hotels in 85 countries, including Kempinski, JA Resorts & Hotels and, since January 2022, the approximately 360 hotels of the NH Hotel Group with brands such as Anantara, Tivoli and NH Hotels.

In 2021, Allianz relaunched its loyalty programme GHA Discovery, which now brings three main innovations for the new year: a higher number of benefits, extended status levels and the option to redeem rewards for a wide range of services in hotels and resorts, not only when travelling, but also in the nearest hotel.

For the latter, for example, the “Live Local” programme was developed. Members can redeem points without staying in the room and have access to the gym, pool, hotel beach, etc. or benefit from reduced prices on meals or wellness at the hotel. They can also book adventure tours in the local area, from cultural events to courses and nature expeditions.

Earn Discovery Dollars

With every type of booking, members immediately earn Discovery Dollars (D$). The advanced membership levels of Silver, Gold, Platinum and Titanium are in turn easier to achieve thanks to more flexible criteria and the various new ways of earning Discovery Dollars. Titanium members can share their status with a person of their choice.
