So much travelling life and work for 30 years?! “Yes”, Kai Böcking shouted to the inclined listeners in good humor over the podcast ether. In September, he was a guest of Sven Meyer and Andy Janz in the travel podcast “Hin & Weg” and drew an exciting interim conclusion about the many years of travel – whether as host of the legendary TV music show Formula One, with which he met musicians such as Phil Collins or the Scorpions at an ever-changing location in 1991. Or later, when he spontaneously put passers-by on the street into vacation planes for other TV shows or tested roller coasters all over the world. And, of course, during the construction of the exceptional luxury hotel “Emirates Palace” in Abu Dhabi, which he was the only one allowed to film from 2001 onwards with his newly founded production company.
Bleisure Travel and our unique magazine “Bleisure Traveller”, which he founded in 2018, are his great essence from the many journeys he has experienced to date, also within the framework of the TV formats “Abenteuer Reisen” and “Kai reist”. In the podcast, he describes why he seeks Bleisure while traveling, why he now only works on the road, when and how luxury hotels today really do offer a luxury experience and how business travel currently works under corona conditions.
