Kempinski focuses on road trips

„From Munich to Berchtesgaden? Or from Nairobi to the Massai-Mara region? Kempinski invites you to corona-compliant road trips between its houses.”

To be on the way individually by car or motorcycle and each time in another Kempinski hotel safely accommodated – the luxury hotel group stretches again the elbow between its over 70 properties world-wide and invites to the attendance of several, not too far from each other distant sister hotels on a journey. For example, it is possible to visit Munich at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski and the Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden with stops at Chiemsee. A completely different journey under the slogan “Your 5 star roadtrip” would be possible in Kenya with the overnight stay in the Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel Nairobi and the journey by the savanna in the Olare Mara Kempinski in the Masai Mara. The respective distances are covered in your own car or motorcycle or at reduced rates in a rental car from Sixt. Different options are possible, alone in Europe the portfolio covers among other things properties in Venice and in the Slovenian Portorož or in Riga and Vilnius. In Germany Kempinski is present also in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Dresden.

“To be able to flexibly adapt a travel route, choose one’s own playlist and enjoy the view a little longer according to one’s own taste – that is the freedom we are all longing for at the moment. No matter whether it is a short weekend trip or a trip to a neighboring country,” says Amanda Elder, member of the board of Kempinski Hotels. By the way, there was already such an offer in the 1930s. At that time, a visitor to Berlin’s Kempinski restaurants could travel by car to the Kempinski Schloss Marquardt in Potsdam and spend the night there.
