First Munich, then Berchtesgaden
Werner Müller and his team have merged the resort with the region and the local people. And they also brought their Munich colleagues on board. For example, anyone who is a guest at the Four Seasons Kempinski Munich can take a few days off after their state capital appointments to enjoy the mountains. For this purpose, both hotels are equipped with driving services etc. and have put together packages. A dinner in the restaurant Le Ciel, the gourmet temple on the mountain, is also a pleasure. The star chef Ulrich Heimann was already stood behind the Le Ciel stove when the hotel opened in 2005 and focuses on classic French dishes with typical Heilmann gusto.

The first attempts at a tourist revival failed in the 1950s. In 1996, after the withdrawal of the Americans, Bavaria was once again able to freely dispose of the site, and the idea of a new luxury hotel together with a documentation centre was born.
